The Sierra Vista Community Band

The SVCB is the only community concert band in Cochise County that rehearses and performs year-round.  Its 30 founding members come from Sierra Vista, Hereford, Tombstone, Whetstone and Fort Huachcua.  The ages of the instrumentalists range from 14 - 70 .  The band has a wide range of playing abilites where everyone fits in and enjoys playing!

The SVCB is a proud member of the Association of Concert Bands.

The Hounds

The feel good rhythm of reggae, soulful southern blues and the raw energy of hip hop accurately describes the distinct style of music produced by The Hounds.

The Hounds originate from both Houston, Texas and San Diego, California forming in Tucson, Arizona in the summer of 2004.  The trio consists of Yogi, an axe wielding front man. Blue, a bass playing rapper and Bruiser, a hard hitting percussionist.  The bands influences range from blues icon Howlin’ Wolf, hip hop leaders A Tribe Called Quest and reggae legends Toots and the Maytals.

Elliott Cohn's Cosmic Sweat Society

Elliott's roots are in blues and funk, but rock, reggae, hip hop, country, jazz, pop, and just about everything else find its way into his ears...Elliott has shared the stage with blues legends: Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins,Lucky Peterson,Big Daddy Kinsey,Gate Mouth Brown, and Johnny G. Lyon... As well as "jam bands" like Galactic, JJ Grey and Mo Fro,George Clinton and the P-Funk all-stars,The Lee Boys, G.Love and Special Sauce, Perpetual Groove, Col. Bruce Hampton,and Members of Jefferson Airplane,and The Grateful Dead...

Elliott has also created a strong presence on the New Orleans music scene as a guitarist/singer/producer, and has preformed and or  recorded with many of the city's top musicians.
